DLR GfR mbH is a company providing reliable, safe and secure aerospace services. We operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites in the Galileo Control Center Oberpfaffenhofen on behalf of the European Commission.

As a Service Level Manager you will be responsible for defining, tracing and improving our service obligations and the services provided by our contractual partners at the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen. You will assume the following duties:
  • Review service performance with partners and GfR teams using information as Product assurance and KPI reports, and develop improved processes for e2e service delivery
  • Identify impacts on schedule, risks and cost
  • Define and accompanying service transitions and change management in close interaction with Galileo project management and contract managers for partner contracts
  • Review and generate project reports, such as weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
  • Define together with supply chain management contractual obligations for industrial subcontractors
  • Close coordination with all internal and external I/F for technical and managerial matters
  • Coordinate and generate improvement proposals for services and service provision
  • Coordinate or support milestone reviews


  • University degree in Engineering, business engineering or similar
  • Good understanding of technical processes and their implementation in multi-partner environments
  • Strong skills in management reporting and decision preparation and execution
  • Good communication skills and interaction with various (multi-partner, multi-national, internal, external) teams
  • Evaluation and planning of service transitions including scheduling, risks, cost and impact on service provisioning, e.g. KPIs
  • Handling of requirements, from design to verification and tracing of fulfilment
  • Experience in contract management or good knowledge about handling of KPIs/SLAs (definition, design, measurement and reporting) are an advantage
  • Independent, proactive and solution oriented worker
  • Very good knowledge of English
