Security Compliance Officer/ Accreditation Engineer (m/f/d)

YOUR MISSION:
- Review of operational and ground infrastructures in terms of their performance and compliance with relevant Galileo project and IT/cyber security requirements
- Evaluating the effectiveness and efficiency of (information) security measures
- Carrying out vulnerability and risk analyses of the security documentation
- Reporting on the requirements review and risk situation to boards and security managers
- Transmission of data packages to customers and German authorities and support during the accreditation process
- Management of documentation including preparation of the required documents at the appropriate times
- Contribution regarding security topics to various committees and groups (e.g. security awareness program)
- Carrying out event-related evaluations and analyses
- Preparation of security-related documentation
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Completed university degree in the field of aerospace engineering, industrial engineering with a focus on IT security or cyber security or equivalent
- Several years of professional experience in the field of IT security or cyber security
- Technical knowledge of IT systems and security mechanisms, ideally in space or defense programs
- Knowledge of audit standards (such as ISO 27007) and audit techniques
- Good knowledge of quality management and documentation
- Good understanding of complex interrelationships, ability to grasp things quickly
- Analytical, structured and process-oriented way of working
- Confidentiality and reliability
- Negotiating skills and assertiveness
- Entrepreneurial thinking and action
- Ability to work in a team, independence and a high level of problem-solving skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
- Knowledge of national legal requirements as well as international standards from information security (e.g. Geheimschutz in der Wirtschaft (BMWi), NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Knowledge of the current security situation and current security threats
- Knowledge of the security-relevant network of the Galileo Control Center
- Awareness of data security
- Certifications in IT security, e.g. CompTIA, TeleTrust, ISC² or ISACA
- Good knowledge of the German language
