YOUR MISSION:
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on TTCF, ULS and GSS remote-site equipment
- Ensure the proper functioning of ground segment stations and resolve any technical issues.
- Utilize Linux systems (Red Hat-based, Suse) for maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Manage RPM packages for software development and deployment.
- Work with antennas and RF subsystems as an AIVQ engineer.
- Conduct RF measurements using tools such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
- Follow laboratory testing procedures to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Provide on-site technical guidance to local maintenance teams and subcontractors.
- Coordinate logistics for site visits, including tools, spare parts, and necessary resources.
- Collaborate with other team members to support maintenance activities and improve system performance.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, system modifications, and software updates.
- Willingness and capability to work in field environments (Galileo Remote stations), conducting on-site testing, troubleshooting and maintenance activities
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Professional experience: 2-5 years in a relevant field, preferrably in the aerospace or satellite industry
- General background in GNSS systems and Galileo
- Understanding of satellite communication systems, with proven experience in ground segment stations
- Experience with Linux systems (Red Hat-based, Suse)
- Knowledge of RPM package management for software development
- Experience with antennas and RF subsystems as an AIVQ engineer
- Proficiency with RF measurement tools (spectrum analyzer, signal generator oscilloscope, etc.) and laboratory testing procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail as well as excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
