YOUR MISSION:
As an intern in our Planning Team you will have the following key responsibilities:
- Plan and coordinate maintenance activities for the L2 team.
- Prepare and organise G2 ground segment maintenance tasks and trackers on a usual basis.
- Participate in internal team coordination meetings and create planning reports.
- Track actions, deadlines, and dependencies.
- Participate in configuration management of the Galileo Project, maintain changes, updates, and version control.
- Support the continuous improvement of planning and coordination processes.
- Regularly communicate on progress, open actions, and priorities to relevant stakeholders.
During your internship you will have the chance to collaborate in the European lighhouse project Galileo. You will learn how the organization and operation of complex software maintenance team and engineering processes is done in practical working life. You will be working in the Galileo Ground Segment Maintenance field, which is constantly evolving due to engineering improvements.
The internship is based in Madrid and would be for at least 6 months.
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Aerospace, Physics or equivalent, not older than three years.
- Interest in planning, coordinations and basic configuration management.
- Self-motivated, with the willingness to learn, take initiative and share ideas .
- Ability to understand complex instructions and and work independently when required, meeting project deadlines without detailed supervision.
- Strong communication skills, collaborate effectively within a team.
- Organizational and time management; attention to detail as well as the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Interest in working with agile collaboration tools in the space context.
- English language skills (at least B1).
