DLR GfR mbH is a company providing reliable, safe and secure aerospace services. We operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites in the Galileo Control Center Oberpfaffenhofen on behalf of the European Commission.

  • Support the analysis of the current hosting infrastructure to effectively and securely perform vulnerability scans
  • Continuous further development and optimization of the IT networks in the hosting security area
  • Implementation of the defined guidelines and measures in the area of VS-IT (protection of classified information)
  • Execution of regular internal security audits, analyses penetration tests and review of the documentation of the defined security requirements
  • Reporting and fast escalation to Hosting IT-Security Manager in case of a concrete risk situation
  • Processing of the hosting IT security risk register
  • Support and preparation of training materials and regular training of project staff in connection with security awareness and IT security administration
  • Support of the Hosting IT Security Manager in the design and negotiation of offers


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science/information technology with focus on network/IT security, or comparable degree
  • Several years of professional experience in the IT -Security area
  • Experience in handling classified information as well as managing related systems
  • Sound knowledge in the IT security as well as network area
  • Good understanding of complex interrelationships, fast comprehension skills
  • Discretion and reliability
  • Business fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to be on call for security related systems
