YOUR MISSION:

Development and maintenance of documentation for the system landscape and network infrastructure
Administration of Windows and Linux server landscapes in the classified information environment
Planning, designing and implementing requirements for the configuration and expansion of systems
Ensuring IT security guidelines and standards in the network and server infrastructure
Monitoring and analysing security events and protocols
Reporting, documentation and rapid escalation to Hosting Security Manager in the event of a specific threat situation
Continuous further development and optimisation of the IT-VS networks as well as implementation of the defined guidelines and measures in the area of IT-VS in accordance with the instructions of the security officer and the IT-VS officer
Further development and improvement of the IT security concept / services for an efficient medium and long-term cyber strategy

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

University degree in the field of computer science/information technology with a focus on network/IT security, or equivalent degree at Master's level or with a equivalent qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in the field of IT security
Profound knowledge in the use of virtualisation software (Proxmox, VMware)
Experience in network technology, especially in the configuration and maintenance of switches, firewalls and other network components
Experience in the administration of Windows and Linux servers
Practical knowledge of technologies and common threats in network security
Knowledge of national legal requirements and international standards in information security (e.g. confidentiality, NIST, ISO 27001, BSI IT baseline protection, etc.)
Certifications and qualifications in the field of IT security such as TISP, CEH, CISA, CISSP, SINA or comparable desirable
Ability to understand complex concepts, quick comprehension and ability to quickly familiarise yourself with new projects and technologies
Discretion and reliability
Negotiation skills and assertiveness
Ability to work in a team, independence and strong problem-solving skills
Very good written and spoken German and English skills
