YOUR MISSION:

Coordination of various security topics and processes in collaboration with the respective team leaders and teams in the GSOp and hosting project
Participation in the processing and creation of offer and contract documents as well as project documents, in particular subject-related examination of the respective documents for risks, implementation options and feasibility from the perspective of security management
Identification of weak points and deviations from requirements
Assessing the level of compliance and performance of cyber security requirements
Development of an efficient security strategy for the GSOp and the hosting project
Continuous development and optimization of security in Galileo satellite operations
Adaptation and improvement of the GSOp and hosting project security management plan, taking into account new technologies, concepts and current and likely future threat scenarios
Coordination with customers and partners of GSOp and the hosting project, particularly in security-related matters
Security risk management
Monitoring the implementation of the information security requirements of GSOp and the hosting project
Ensuring the implementation and improvement of necessary training/training programs for employees in the GSOp and hosting project
Supporting and participating in accreditation milestones in connection with the GSOp and hosting project
Planning and conducting regular internal audits
Carrying out event-related analyses
Regular reporting to the project management boards, the security officer and the head of the security department on the above-mentioned topics

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

Completed university degree in computer science/information technology with a focus on network/IT security, or comparable degree
Many years of professional experience in the field of IT security in major international projects, preferably in a company/research institution with a focus on aerospace
Several years of professional experience in the security industry, e.g. experience in the CERT environment and IT forensics or in the field of penetration and vulnerability testing
Knowledge of national legal requirements as well as international information security standards (e.g. IT baseline protection as well as secret protection in the economy (NIST, ISO 27001, etc.))
Practical knowledge of technologies and common threats in network security
Good knowledge of quality management, documentation
Good understanding of complex interrelationships, quick comprehension skills
Confidentiality and reliability
Negotiating skills and assertiveness
Ability to work in a team, independence and strong problem-solving skills
Very good knowledge of English
