YOUR MISSION:
- Review and analysis of the information security procedures and applications
- Identify and classify system anomalies in the local security environment and create a solution concept
- Identification of possible threats to the information and communication systems and development of an efficient operational solution, followed by escalation in the event of violations
- Review in the evaluation and reporting of forensic investigations
- Processing of the security risk register through the ongoing identification of new cyber security risks
- Regular implementation of internal audits
- Regular reporting and rapid escalation in the event of a specific threat situation
- Regular review and documentation of the system against the safety requirements defined by the customer, in the event of deviations, preparation of appropriate correction concepts and implementation
- Support in the creation of cyber security processes and workflows in the field of engineering, of new projects and technical solutions in the field of cyber security as well as of change proposals related to cyber security
- Further development of the tools used in the area of analysis and report generation
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security or equivalent
- Many years of professional experience in the field of IT or in the security industry
- In-depth knowledge of cyber security-related topics (security concepts, encryption, vulnerability analysis, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of the administration of client and server systems (Windows and Linux)
- Sound knowledge of software development (Python and Django) and databases
- Confidentiality and reliability
- Initiative and curiosity
- Good understanding of complex relationships, quick comprehension
- Ability to work in a team, independence and high problem-solving skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
The following additional qualifications are beneficial:
- Knowledge of national legal requirements as well as international standards from information security (e.g. Secret Protection in Business (BMWi), NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Knowledge of the current security situation and current security threats
- Awareness of data security
- Scripting knowledge for analysis and automatic storage of log files
- Certifications in IT security, e.g. CompTIA, TeleTrust, ISC² or ISACA
- Knowledge of network technology, VPN technology and firewalls
- Knowledge of monitoring and log systems
- Experience in the creation of concepts and system planning
- Good knowledge of the German language
