YOUR MISSION:

Reviewing and analyzing the information security procedures and applications regularly used in day-to-day business
Identification and classification of system anomalies in the local security environment and creation of a solution concept
Identification of potential threats to information and communication systems, development of a response plan, review of implementation and development of an efficient operational solution
Reviewing the evaluation and reporting of forensic investigations
Processing the security risk register by continuously identifying new cyber security risks
Regularly conducting internal audits in the Galileo security environment
Regular reporting and rapid escalation in the event of a specific risk situation
Regular review and documentation of the system against the security requirements defined by the customer; in the event of deviations, creation and implementation of appropriate correction concepts
Supporting the creation of cyber security processes and workflows in the area of engineering, new projects and technical solutions in the area of cyber security as well as change proposals related to cyber security
Further development of the tools used in the area of analysis and report

YOUR QUALIFICATION:

Completed Bachelor's degree in computer science, cyber security or equivalent
Many years of professional experience in IT or in the security industry
In-depth knowledge of cyber security-related topics
Comprehensive knowledge in the administration of client and server systems (Windows and Linux)
Sound knowledge of software development (Python and Django) and databases
Confidentiality and reliability
Initiative and curiosity
Good understanding of complex interrelationships, quick comprehension
Ability to work in a team, independence and high problem-solving skills
Very good written and spoken English skills

The following additional qualifications are an advantage:

Knowledge of national legal requirements as well as international standards from information security (e.g. Geheimschutz in der Wirtschaft (BMWi), NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Knowledge of the current security situation and current security threats
Awareness of data security
Scripting skills for analyzing and automatically saving log files
Certifications in IT security, e.g. CompTIA, TeleTrust, ISC² or ISACA
Knowledge of network technology, VPN technology and firewalls
Knowledge of monitoring and log systems
Experience in the creation of concepts and system planning
