YOUR MISSION:
- Planning and execution of routine, cross-site, internal audits of the Galileo systems, including the collection of configuration data and safety-related protocols, as well as their processing and analysis
- Evaluation of technical and system-related changes with regard to safety requirements
- Assist with the release of Galileo system upgrades by reviewing documents, contributing to project milestones, and performing regression and functional tests
- Developing, implementing and monitoring risk mitigation measures in the context of security
- Assist in the assessment and escalation of detected security incidents or breaches of system and/or security requirements
- Maintenance of system basic documentation
- Reporting on the results of the analyses, etc. to superiors and committees
- Participation in technical committees
- Further development of training materials related to safety as well as training of team and project staff
- oncall activities
YOUR QUALIFICATION:
- Completed university degree, preferably in a course of study with security as the main topic or comparable education with security as the main topic and at least 2-3 years of professional experience
- Extensive knowledge of cyber security and the Linux and Windows operating systems
- Experience with system monitoring and log analyses
- Willingness to travel to sites in the Galileo environment
- Good understanding of complex relationships and quick comprehension
- Confidentiality and reliability
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness
- Ability to work in a team, independence and high problem-solving skills
- Very good written and spoken English skills
The following additional qualifications are beneficial:
- Knowledge of national legal requirements as well as international standards from information security (e.g. Secret Protection in Business (BMWi), NIST, ISO 27001, etc.)
- Programming and scripting skills (e.g. Python) for the purpose of automation
- Knowledge of shell environments (e.g. Bash, Powershell)
- Experience with virtual environments and networks
- Good knowledge of German and/or Italian
